Sensex settles 593 pts lower, Nifty below 25,900.

               Indian stocks ended lower on Thursday, with Sensex and Nifty slipping after the U.S. Federal Reserve cut interest rates as expected but hinted it may be the final reduction of 2025, among other factors that soured investor sentiment on the day.


The S&P BSE Sensex dropped 592.67 points, or 0.70%, to close at 84,404.46, while the NSE Nifty 50 declined 176.05 points, or 0.68%, to end at 25,877.85.
